We have reached an exciting milestone!

It is now time to start preparing to take your puppy home.

Given that puppies are selected in order of the reservation list, I need to know your commitment

to this litter so all families can plan accordingly. Please email me (monica@wigglerumpranch.com) that:

1) you've seen this and

2) to let me know if you want to STAY on the reservation list or be REMOVED.

If I do not hear from you by Tuesday 8/23/22, I will remove you from this reservation list so people on the waitlist can plan accordingly. As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have about bringing home a puppy in the near term. I will be sending the following information soon:

• Puppy Evaluations (when puppies are 50-52 days old) - POSTED HERE

• Your final placement on the reservation list and your time slot in which to choose your

puppy - will be emailed to you when confirmed

• Vet Clearances (microchip, fecal, first vaccine, vet check etc.) - any concerns will be emailed to you

Here is a to-do list for you:

1. Finalize your payment and pick-up plans

2. Order puppy food (www.509petpantry.com)

3. Sign your contract

4. Sign up for pet insurance

5. Puppy-proof your house

6. Schedule your puppy’s first vet visit

7. Have you lined up a trainer? A socialization plan? (we have online resources)

While I know it is scary to take your puppy out in public, there are safe ways to do so (“all four off the floor”) - drive around in the car with the windows down, carry your pup around in a puppy sling etc. It is imperative that your puppy continue to be exposed to things in a positive manner. I had eight weeks and you only have eight weeks, and then the rest is remedial training.

* All puppies need to know that the world is safe, dogs are friendly, and people are kind. *

Ensure that every interaction is safe and positive.

8. Do the new puppy dance! Go ahead, no one is watching!

• Prepare for your role in raising a Wiggle Rump puppy! One of the worst things you can do is treat your puppy like a human - honor them as a canine - don’t humanize their behaviors!

My Food Recommendation is a Requirement for the first 9 weeks while settling in, but I do recommend it for life as multiple generations of Wiggle Rumps thrive on it!
